Two independent gates
Identity and purity are separate release gates. A batch that confirms identity but reports 97.4% purity has failed release even though the vial genuinely contains the labelled compound.
Why we do not release near-misses
Publishing a 99%+ standard and then shipping 97% material makes every other number we publish unverifiable. The threshold only has value if it is absolute.
What happens to the material
Quarantined material is recorded against its batch identifier and destroyed. It is never repackaged, discounted or blended into another run.
